On Thursday, the King County Sheriff’s Office marked the 41st anniversary of the death of Detective Michael L. Raburn, who was killed in the line of duty on March 27, 1984. Detective Raburn had been responding to a call involving a person in crisis when he tragically lost his life after 12 years of service with the department.
