Washington Softball announces cancellation of two games

Just like they did on Friday afternoon, the Washington Huskies’ offense exploded in the top of the first inning against the Illinois Fighting Illini on Saturday morning, posting 9 runs in the frame as coach Heather Tarr’s team looked like it was ready to cruise to another run-rule victory. However, the rain started to pour, and it washed away everything, including star freshman Alexis DeBoer’s team-leading 15th home run of the season.
