The Snoqualmie Valley School District (SVSD) is gearing up for a cherished tradition that brings the community together to celebrate its graduating seniors. The 6th Annual Senior Car Parade is set to take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 6 p.m., with a newly designed route through historic Snoqualmie, centered around Mount Si High School.
π A Community Celebration
This event is open to all graduating seniors from SVSD schools, including Mount Si High School, Two Rivers School, and the Parent Partnership Program. It’s a chance for students to showcase their school spirit and pride as they parade through the streets in decorated vehicles, wearing their caps and gowns.
The parade has become a beloved tradition, drawing families, friends, and community members to cheer on the graduates. It’s more than just a procession; it’s a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and achievements of the Class of 2025.
π Registration Details
Participation in the parade is free, but seniors must register by Friday, May 30, 2025, to ensure their spot. Each student is required to complete their own waiver, even if riding with another participant. All vehicles must be driven by a licensed adult aged 25 or older.
New this year, floats are allowed due to the revised, low-speed route through local streets. Vehicles must arrive fully decorated between 4:45 and 5:30 p.m. at the Mount Si High School front/visitor parking lot and bus area. Late arrivals will not be permitted to participate.
Graduates must wear their gowns and remain with their vehicles during staging. Decorations should be secure and school-appropriate. Participants are also asked to help keep the area clean and leave no litter behind.
π Parade Route & Viewing Information
The parade will begin on Meadowbrook Way (Wildcat Way) in front of Mount Si High School and will travel around the school, ending on the west side near the Performing Arts Center.
Spectators are encouraged to park and watch along the route at the following locations:
