eXplore Snoqualmie

Snoqualmie, WA Community

Snoqualmie is preparing to light up the sky this Independence Day with the return of its most beloved summer tradition—Red, White, and Boom. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the 2025 event promises an unforgettable evening of patriotic celebration, family fun, and fireworks at Snoqualmie Community Park on Friday, July 4.

Event Overview & Schedule

Hosted by Church on the Ridge, the free community event begins at 7:00 PM and concludes with a stunning fireworks show at approximately 9:45 PM. What started in 2016 as a modest fireworks display has grown into a full-scale summer spectacle, now drawing crowds from across the Snoqualmie Valley and beyond.

With no admission fee, the event is accessible to everyone—locals and visitors alike—who want to experience a vibrant, hometown Fourth of July celebration.

“This production brings our community together, supports local businesses, and provides a safe, family-friendly way to celebrate our nation’s birthday.” – Pastor Charlie Salmon, Church on the Ridge

Activities & Attractions

Attendees can expect nonstop fun leading up to the fireworks. The wide-open grounds of Snoqualmie Community Park will be buzzing with energy, including:

  • Inflatable bounce houses and play zones for kids

  • Live music from local performers

  • Field games and group activities for all ages

  • Food trucks offering BBQ, tacos, sweet treats, and ice cream

With options for every age and appetite, the event strikes the perfect balance between a community picnic and festival excitement.

A Celebration of Community

Red, White, and Boom symbolizes what makes Snoqualmie special—our sense of community and shared traditions,” says Mayor Katherine Ross. Since its inception, the event has become a cornerstone of the city’s summer calendar, not just because of the fireworks but because of the connections made on the lawn—neighbors chatting, kids playing, and families celebrating together.

As Snoqualmie grows, the event has managed to preserve its small-town charm while expanding to serve a broader regional audience. Organizers are preparing for the largest attendance yet in 2025, with plans in place to ensure a safe, comfortable experience for all.

Fireworks Grand Finale

The highlight of the night comes at 9:45 PM, when the sky above the Valley bursts into color. The professional-grade fireworks show is one of the best in the region—choreographed to music and designed to wow both first-time visitors and longtime residents.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic essentials, and to arrive early to secure a good viewing spot, as parking and prime space fill up quickly.

  • Event Start: 7:00 PM
